This massive database contains records of over 22 million passengers who entered the U.S. through Ellis Island between 1892 and 1924. Requires registration, available free of charge.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has a very large amount of records that are useful for genealogy, but most of these records are not online. NARA has locations all over the country; the two nearest to Agawam are the archives in Waltham and Pittsfield.
