Looking for an interesting read? Former town historian, Edith LaFrancis’ book Agawam Massachusetts: A Town History is available for purchase at the library for $20.00. Visit the Reference Desk on the lower level to purchase a copy.

Free English Class Offered

The Agawam Public Library will offer an interactive conversational English class every Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:30, starting on September 8, 2014. This free class is sponsored by the Friends of the Agawam Library, and is open to all adult learners who are looking to improve their English in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This course will cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and various aspects of conversational English.

Childrens Programs Registration

Registration for children’s fall programs will  begin on Monday, September 22nd, with  programs starting Monday, October 6th. All  Agawam students in grades K-4 will receive  flyers sent home from school.

The Agawam Library is now offering a collection of downloadable ebooks from Recorded Books. OneClick Digital allows patrons to download a variety of titles from your home computer.

Kathleen Cournoyer Art Display

During the month of July, the Agawam Public Library will feature the art of local resident Kathleen Cournoyer.  Her display will include works in colored pencil, watercolor, calligraphy, and photography.
